Which serial number will be implemented in concrete terms \u2013 or whether we will initially start with a neutral basic model \u2013 is currently still open. However, this decision has only a marginal impact on the design of the frame, wheelsets, electronics, software and drivetrain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on\">The locomotive adopts the proven&nbsp;<strong>control and drive concept of <a href=\"https:\/\/openrail64.com\/en_us\/#Lok1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lok1<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading ext-animate--on has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Objective and Benchmark<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on\">The aim is to create a model that is as&nbsp;<strong>true to scale and close to the original<\/strong>&nbsp;as possible on a scale&nbsp;<strong>&nbsp;of 1:22.5<\/strong>&nbsp;with a&nbsp;<strong>track gauge of 64 mm<\/strong>. The functional demand is at least on the level of&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/openrail64.com\/en_us\/#Lok1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lok1<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on\">These include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list ext-animate--on\">\n<li class=\"ext-animate--on\">Speed-dependent controlled sound and steam<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ext-animate--on\">Battery operation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ext-animate--on\">Lighting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ext-animate--on\">Integrated electronics and software<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on\">The design is carried out on the basis of different templates and drawings in a&nbsp;<strong>parametric 3D CAD system<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading ext-animate--on has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Design Concept<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on\">The model is deliberately designed for production in <strong>3D printing<\/strong>. Based on our experience with the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/openrail64.com\/en_us\/#Lok1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lok1<\/a><\/strong>, we are convinced that a high-quality model can be realized for <strong>less than 200 euros<\/strong> \u2013 provided that a 3D printer is available (battery not included).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on\">At the same time, we continue to develop our <strong>passenger and freight wagons<\/strong>.
